《浙江中药修制史系列研究》丛书

朱德明总主编

2025年11月，朱德明总主编的《浙江中药修制史系列研究》5部专著是浙江省哲学社会科学重点研究基地浙江中医药大学浙江中医药文化研究院重点课题，项目编号2024JDZD01，已由中医古籍出版社出版发行。本丛书的出版，旨在追根溯源、稽探未来，弘扬浙江中药文化，具有重要的学术价值、应用价值和文化强省、强国意义，也对传承历史文脉、坚定文化自信、推动文明交流、建设社会主义文化强国具有一定意义。

本丛书为浙江中药与哲学社会科学的交叉研究，以阐述浙江中药文化是浙江区域文化的重要组成部分这一核心任务为主线，依据中药学、中药文献学、医史学、文学、史学、语言学、考古学、目录版本学、方志学、文化史、科技史、中外文化交流史等学科的基础理论、体例和研究方法，文理交叉、多学科融合互补，携手研究了浙江中药与政治、经济、文物考古、文化遗产、少数民族风俗、对外交流等的交融内涵及历程，佐证了浙江区域文化是浙江中药理论和实践的形成、发展与创新的思想源泉，而浙江中药理论、临证、研发是浙江区域文化的重要组成部分这一哲理，向世人揭橥了浙江中药文化传承悠久、脉络清晰、丰富璀璨的显著特征以及浙江中药发展的总体水平，在南宋朝之前比较落后，南宋朝开始逐渐跃居全国前茅，明清时期步江苏省之后，跃居全国第二位，当今已成为中国中药最发达的省份之一的发展规律。本丛书极大地改变浙江中药文化研究自古迄今的严重缺陷和积弱窘境，充实“浙学”“宋韵”内涵，现实性、针对性地为中共浙江省委省政府文化强省决策服务，打造了具有浙江辨识度、学术知名度的有特色的高质量学术丛书。在此基础上推进了浙江中药文化创造性转化与创新性发展，开拓性、原创性、学术性地推动了浙江中药文化走出国门。

《浙江中药修制史系列研究》5部专著由5个子课题组成，即子课题一：浙江中药业史。子课题二：浙江中药炮制与制剂史。子课题三：浙江中药鉴定史。子课题四：浙江中医药膳史。子课题五：浙江中药典籍英译史。该系列5部专著总字数221.8万字，每部专著的字数约达45万字。本系列研究专著的撰稿工作由浙江省哲学社会科学重点研究基地浙江中医药大学浙江中医药文化研究院副院长朱德明教授全面主持。

朱德明教授

朱德明，1957年4月4日出生于浙江省杭州市，浙江中医药大学教授、博士后流动站合作导师、浙江中医药文化研究院副院长、浙江省哲学社会科学重点研究基地执行负责人，兼任国家文化和旅游部中国非物质文化遗产保护协会中医药委员会副秘书长、国家社会科学基金年度项目评审专家、国家文化和旅游部国家级非物质文化遗产代表性项目评审专家库专家、中央广播电视总台中央电视台1台央视综合频道（CCTV-1）《中国中医药大会》大型文化类节目第四期《中华本草》主席台嘉宾、中央广播电视总台中央电视台4台央视综合频道（CCTV-4）大型健康类节目《健康中国》特聘专家、浙江省文化广电和旅游厅非物质文化遗产传统医药评审组组长或成员。

本书简介：古代浙江是中国中药材重要产区之一，距今约6871年的浙江先民已开始采集灵芝用于食用或药用。浙江药材生产和资源的总量均列全国前三位，具有“东南药用植物宝库”之称。2024年，浙江省进行了第四次全省中药资源普查，共调查到野生资源2987种。自古迄今，浙江药店如雨后春笋般地开张，部分药店在全国影响重大。本书作者通过对浙江中药业的历史与现状进行广泛调研，走访了浙江省杭州、金华、湖州等十一个地区大型的种植基地、制药厂，以及从浙江省档案馆、省卫健委档案室、分赴省图书馆古籍部、浙江中医药大学图书馆等收集有关浙江中药业的史料，结合对浙江中药历史的梳理，首次系统整理研究浙江中药业史，以大历史、多学科的视野，深入研究浙江中药产业发展的历史规律，总结历史经验，为当代浙江中药店堂发展提供新思路，为浙江省委省政府决策服务，为浙江社会、经济和文化发展服务，对于浙江中药文化走出省域融入世界具有重要的社会影响。

History of TCM Medicinals Industry

in Zhejiang

In ancient times, Zhejiang was one of the major production areas for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) medicinals. As early as approximately 6,871 years ago, the ancestors of Zhejiang had begun collecting lingzhi (Ganoderma lucidum) for edible or medicinal purposes. Both the total output and resource reserves of medicinals in Zhejiang rank among the top three nationwide, earning it the reputation of being the Treasure House of Medicinal Plants in Southeast China. In 2024, Zhejiang Province conducted its fourth provincial-wide survey of medicinals resources, documenting a total of 2,987 species of wild medicinals resources. From ancient times to the present, TCM pharmacies in Zhejiang have sprung up like mushrooms, with some exerting significant influence across the country. Through extensive research on the history and current status of Zhejiang’s TCM industry, the author of this book visited large-scale medicinals planting bases and pharmaceutical factories in 11 regions of Zhejiang, including Hangzhou, Jinhua and Huzhou. Additionally, the author collected historical materials related to Zhejiang’s TCM industry from sources such as the Zhejiang Provincial Archives, the archives of the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission, the Ancient Books Department of the Zhejiang Provincial Library and the Library of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University. Combining this research with a systematic review of Zhejiang’s TCM history, the author has, for the first time, conducted a comprehensive study on the history of Zhejiang’s TCM industry. From a macro-historical and interdisciplinary perspective, the study delves into the historical patterns of Zhejiang’s TCM industry development, summarizes historical experiences, and aims to provide new insights for the development of contemporary TCM pharmacies in Zhejiang, serve the decision-making of the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Government, contribute to the social, economic, and cultural development of Zhejiang, and exert important social influence in promoting Zhejiang’s TCM culture to go beyond the province and integrate into the world.

Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) processing emerged with the discovery and application of medicinals. Guided by TCM theory, it refers to the techniques and methods of processing TCM medicinals into decoction pieces in accordance with the requirements of clinical use. In ancient times, it was also called paozhi (processing by heating or roasting). TCM preparations serve as a bridge connecting clinical syndromes with prescriptions and medicinals. They are the carrier of the principles, methods, formulas and medicines in TCM prescriptions, embodying the integration of traditional preparation theories and technologies. Dosage forms such as pill, powder, ointment and decoction are the clinical application forms of preparations. Both TCM processing and preparations are the crystallization of long-term clinical practice, the main carriers for the inheritance, innovation and development of TCM, and even treasures of traditional Chinese culture. Passed down for thousands of years, they remain vibrant and relevant. Based on the tradition, this book takes the timeline as the main thread to trace the history of traditional TCM processing and preparations. It systematically studies the development of processing and preparations in different periods, representative works and representative figures. It also systematically sorts out the academic thoughts of TCM processing and preparations in Zhejiang, and explains the contributions of the Zhejiang Materia Medica School as well as Zhejiang’s TCM processing and preparations to the development of Zhejiang’s TCM science. Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) Medicinals Identification Science is an applied discipline. It identifies and studies the varieties and quality of medicinals, formulates medicinals quality standards, discovers and expands new medicinal resources. Its research objects include TCM medicinals, decoction pieces and proprietary Chinese medicines. In the process of TCM modernization, the identification of medicinals authenticity, genuineness and quality plays a crucial role. It provides strong technical support for quality. Based on the development characteristics of Zhejiang’s TCM Medicinals Identification Science, this book divides its development history into two stages: the traditional TCM identification development stage and the modern stage. The first stage presents a development context characterized by one origin and two peaks. Zhejiang’s TCM medicinals identification history originated early. In ancient times, traditional TCM medicinals identification was valued, giving birth to a large number of prominent experts in materia medica identification and related monographs. After the founding of the People’s Republic of China, with the introduction of Western pharmacognosy, Zhejiang’s TCM medicinals identification entered the second stage. During this period, Zhejiang’s modern TCM Medicinals Identification Science gradually took shape and matured.

Since ancient times, Zhejiang has been a land of fish and rice with abundant natural resources, boasting unique regional and historical characteristics. These have provided fertile ground for the development of TCM medicinal diet in Zhejiang. This book delves into the natural geography, politics, economy, culture and other historical backgrounds of Zhejiang. It explores the social factors that fostered the emergence of Zhejiang’s TCM medicinal diet in different eras, reveals the reasons behind the distinctive development of Zhejiang’s TCM medicinal diet health preservation in each period, and introduces the basic overview as well as the development and evolution of Zhejiang’s TCM medicinal diet. History of Translation on Chinese

Materia Medica Classics in Zhejiang

Currently, there is an urgent demand for the international communication of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), but the translation system is backward. Moreover, there are no academic achievements studying the English translation of Zhejiang's TCM classics from the perspectives of linguistics and translation studies. Based on the gap, this book takes representative ancient Chinese Materia Medica (CMM) classics in Zhejiang as the research object, filling the void in regional research on the English translation of TCM. Composed of six chapters, the book focuses on the history, theories, practices and significance of the English translation of Zhejiang's CMM classics, expanding discussions respectively. The first chapter sorts out the cultural attributes and overseas evolution of the international translation of classics, the second chapter clarifies English translation theories, principles, methods and translators' competencies, Chapters 3 to 5 explore English translation norms and strategies from the terminological, sentential and textual dimensions respectively. Then the final chapter summarizes the research significance, contributing to the standardization of English translation of TCM terms, the construction of Zhejiang's TCM external discourse system, and the overseas communication of TCM culture. With both theoretical and practical value, this book provides references for relevant research at home and abroad, and promotes the internationalization of TCM and the promotion of traditional Chinese culture.
